Wow, second week back after my brief hiatus and I”ve dropped the ball already!
I’ll blame a teething one year old for waking me up so often this week, I was losing track of what day it was …
Meh, one day late, the tunes still bump.
Normal Service has been resumed!
Ahoy – apologies for the unannounced outage, but my hard drive collapsed into a steaming heap after Asus decided up update some of their software and utterly ruin the file structure on my laptop. Basically that meant that I couldn’t even start the damn machine up, or if it did get to the logon screen, the mouse wouldn’t move.
One total OS reinstall and complete system rebuild later, I’m back up and going (well, almost). I’m a bit of a nerd, so I was backed up to the hind teeth – I highly recommend zovo for this, up to half a terabyte of storage for free with the right signup coupon, and it’s done the job brilliantly.
Three on a Thursday, the Ctrl:Alt:TheBeat show and a massive backlog of reviews with soon be unleashed.

3, 2, 1, you’re back in the room …
Apologies for the lack of a ToT last week, I was in Toyko on my hols and was suffering from a dearth of wi-fi access – or at least reasonably priced wi-fi access – I wasn’t going to pay the £20 a day the hotel wanted to charge me - I blame my Scottish heritage for the ‘deep pockets & short arms’ nature of this excuse
Never fear though, normal service has been returned, and to make up for the emotional trauma of missing a week, I’ve dropped a double dose of tunes on you below …

Get a little excited as I’m writing this one – incoming WHOMP night this Friday at Basement 45 in Bristol. Sadly the front room is mostly house ( 
), but myself and a few good buddies with be bringing a fat sack of party breaks and beats (as well as some minging knitwear) to rock room two – schaaaaaawing!
