Hell, even if you don’t, you should bimble on down to Basement 45this Saturday to see yours truly dropping beats and breaks in Rooms 2 alongside Teddy G, Si Macc & Rob Helps. If that’s not your kind of thing Empathy stalwart Stu Wilkinson is heading up the main Room alongside Riddle, Cornelius and Dan Robbins for the house heads
See you there – decked in Granny’s finest knitted monstrosity, obviously.
Apologies for the lack of a Three on a Thursday last week – I was in a wifi free hotel room in Tokyo so was a little stuck. Never fear though, they’ve foolishly let me back into the country, so, refreshed from my travels, I’ll be battering through the rather huge pile of promo that’s clogging up my inbox and the choicest cuts will presented in the next few days, so keep ‘em peeled!
If you’re feeling the tunes and mixes I’ve been posting, the good news (or bad news depending on your opinion) is that I’ll be bashing ‘em out with the Whomp boys and girls at Basement 45 in Bristol this Saturday … 5 notes on the door for what should be a belter of a night.
Ah, the delights of playing tunes with your mates, drinking a few beers and then attempting to write a blog post – oh dear …
Get a little excited as I’m writing this one – incoming WHOMP night this Friday at Basement 45 in Bristol. Sadly the front room is mostly house ( ), but myself and a few good buddies with be bringing a fat sack of party breaks and beats (as well as some minging knitwear) to rock room two – schaaaaaawing!
Midweek treat for you today – I’ve knocked together a little promo mix for the lovely boys and girls at WHOMP. Half an hour of beats, bleeps, breaks and scandalous mashups and re-edits – so pretty standard for me then.
If you like this sort of thing, pop down to the 4th Annual Bad Jumper Party @ Basement 45 this coming Friday to hear myself, Rob Helps, Riddle,Cornelius and a few more reprobates bringing both the party vibe and the grotesque knitwear.
