Been warming up ready for Whomp’s near-legendary Bad Jumper Christmas Party at Basement 45 in Bristol so am thoroughly in the mood to launch three of the finest tunes I’ve found this week at your lugholes.
Hold tight, we’re going in! First up this week is a total roller of a track, 11th from Addison Groove and Sam Binga.
This one is definitely hitting the deep-housey, garagey, footwork tip that I rarely listen to, but when it’s good, it’s *really* good.
This dropped on Modeselektors 50 Weapons imprint a few months back – get involved.
I’ve been rummaging in the box marked ‘thoroughly boshing dirty breaky nonsense’ over the last couple of weeks, in preparation for Saturdays shindig, and found this tidy little number by Dodge & Fuski vs Culprate.
Vice is a solid glitchy banger, with some nice G-Funk synths giving it a Dre-esque bounce. Hopefully it’ll do the business

The last track this week is a little odd, but then you’d expect something a little out of the ordinary from Stones Throw.
Never known for exactly siting back on their laurels and churning out chart oriented tosh, Jonwayne‘s track Andrew epitomises some of the out there stuff they produce (and yes, this is the third mention he’s had in almost as many ToTs, what can I say, the big boy is flicking my switches right now).
Built around heavily synthed up simple vocal lines layered over one another, this is quite unlike anything I’ve ever heard before – props to Ootta on the listentothis subreddit for this one

It’s oddly brilliant isn’t it?
